Has blogging become un-cool?

Is it just me, or does the blog-o-sphere seem more quiet these days? Maybe it's because bike racing hasn't started. Maybe it's because I've been more absent than not. It seems like it's partly related to everyone spending their time Facebooking, twitting, blipping, or whatever else it is they're doing. I've pretty adamantly resisted Facebook for a ton of reasons, not the least of which is that I have no time and it seems like the type of thing that's not even worth the effort to set up unless you can instantly turn into a crack-addict-like user. As I've told people, the few people from high school that I care about how they're doing I either talk to a few times a week already or I get the occasional update from my friends who did cave to the peer pressure. Ah well... not intending to turn this into a rant... more an observation.

I may just do something stupid and show up for the big kids race on Sunday... we'll see...

you ain't the only one resisting all that.

lots of reasons... blogging just isn't cool...

and i guess the only ones still doing it somewhat regularly are really NOT cool (ie me).

Cool kids still blogging? Thom Parsons. Gotta dig his daily writing. RyanK is still somewhat regular... they are out there

I've noticed a decrease but not an all out vacuum. Content shifts a bit. But hey, everything is always in a constant state of flux, if you are statically looking at the same stuff all the time you'll get left behind.

for now i'm steering clear of twitter and facebook...

What percentage of twitter tweets do you suppose are related to the size of the dump someone just took?

Blogging isn't cool. I am cool.

Actually ive just been very busy lately tring to juggle school, riding my bike, and attempting to get a job for the real world which is two months away.

Twitter is easy to update and more and more people are doing it.

Blip is just awesome (if you take pics).

Facebook is retarted. Don't get it unless you have to. Im a college kid so it's kinda required.

Yada yada yada.

I'll send ya a check this week.

BTW, if anyone hasn't checked out the blip photo site his Bradness has going, do it. Turns out the kid's photographic skills are nearly as good as his circus-freak balance on anything with wheel(s)...
